Access, Out of Hours & Extended Access

Both of our sites are located in modern purpose build premises, and we can cater for patients with accessibility requirements.

We have designated parking, automatic entry doors, level access throughout and lifts to upper floors where required.
111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.

Our practice provides an enhanced access service in conjunction with other practices within our Primary Care Network. Patients can access face to face appointments with Health Care Assistants and Pharmacists or telephone appointments with a doctor.

Telephone appointments with a doctor can be requested using the normal practice triage system (by using the online facility AccuRx available on our practice website or by telephoning the practice).

Face to face appointments with a health care assistant or pharmacist can be booked by telephoning the practice.

As there are a very limited number of appointments available, we would ask that you request these appointments only when you are unable to attend during our normal daytime core hours.

Please note that the practice will not be open for appointment requests, prescription requests, “walk ins” or any other enquiries outside of core hours.

  • Access to the practice for face-to-face appoints after 6.30pm on Thursdays will be limited to patients with booked appointments as part of the enhanced access service only. This will be via an intercom link at the front entrance.
