Still need an appointment?
If you still think you need an appointment with the practice, please contact our admin team to discuss your requirements.
When you contact us to make an appointment, it will be necessary for our admin team to ask you a few questions about the purpose of your call. They may be able to direct you to a more appropriate service, or book you into an appointment at the practice with the most appropriate clinician. In some cases, our administration team will be able to provide an answer without the need for you to attend for an appointment.
Please help us to manage appointment demand appropriately:
- Have you done all you can to manage the condition yourself?
- Have you taken advice from the local pharmacy if appropriate?
- Have you checked to see if you can refer yourself to an appropriate service?
- Have you asked if the problem can be dealt with by our admin team, without the need to attend for an appointment?
- If you require an appointment, can this be dealt with by a doctor or nurse over the telephone?
If so, please ask for a telephone appointment.
Do you have a medical issue that urgently needs sorting out today?
If so, we can arrange for a doctor, nurse practitioner or advanced clinical practitioner to call you back the same day.
If your problem is not urgent, but you do need to see one of our clinicians, we will arrange a routine appointment with the next available clinician.
Non-urgent advice: Have you got a life-threatening condition? Is it a medical emergency?
